BEENYUP WWTP - FIRST CADAGUA-BROADSPECTRUM COLLABORATION AGREEMENT REWARDS IN AUSTRALIA
Last June, Cadagua and Broadspectrum signed a collaboration agreement addressing the market for water treatment Design, Construction, Operating and Maintenance projects in Australia and Nueva Zealand.
This agreement has yielded its first rewards with the contract with the Water Corporation for the Design and Construction of energy recovery installations in the Beenyup WWTP (Perth). The project considers the desulphurisation of 1,000 Nm3/h of biogas, its later dehumidification and filtering using active carbon to eliminate siloxanes, all before being used for energy production in cogeneration groups.
Cadagua’s collaboration, together with its experience regarding similar installations, has been essential for the final decision-making and will continue to do so throughout the different stages of the contract. The project includes one year of operating supervision and the possibility of extending the contract with a further 5 years of Operating and Maintenance.
