The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife visits the deodorization works of La Orotava, build by CADAGUA

The president of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, Carlos Alonso, visited on September the 10th the works of the New Deodorization Line of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of the Valley of La Orotava, constructed by CADAGUA. He was accompanied by the Insular Water Councilor, Manuel Martínez, and the mayors of Puerto de la Cruz and La Orotava, Lope Afonso, and Francisco Linares respectively, along with the Manager of the Insular Water Council of Tenerife, Javier Davara and other technicians of the agency. Pablo Riesco, General Manager of Cadagua Julio Llorente, Project Execution Director and M.Carmen Velazquez Operation and Maintenenace Manager for the Canary Islands, also attended.

The start-up of the new deodorization facility of the treatment plant has generated important environmental and air quality benefits in an area of great tourist value for the Island, due to its large concentration of hotels and proximity to recreational facilities such as the theme park Loro Parque.
