The Entidad Publica de Saneamiento de Aguas Residuales de la Comunidad Valenciana has awarded to Cadagua with service of operation and maintenance of the system of sanitation and wastewater treatment system of Aspe. This new contract began on March 1, 2019 and lasts for 4 years expandable, in an annual basis, up to a maximum of 4 additional years.
Aspe’s WWTP has a treatment capacity of 2,500 m3 per day and an average rate of 27,083 equivalent inhabitants. It has a conventional biological treatment of prolonged aeration and a sludge treatment system by gravity thickener and dewatering through belt filter press and decanter centrifuge. Additionally, the Aspe WWTP has a sludge post-treatment system through a composting plant consisting of 4 drying tunnels with a capacity of 308 Tm ms / year / tunnel.
This new contract highlights the good work being done by Cadagua in the management and operation of water treatment plants, reinforcing its presence in the Comunidad Valenciana and reaffirming its continued expansion.
