The Ceuta SDP was designed and built by Cadagua in 1998 under a concession agreement that includes 20 years of operation and maintenance.
In 2008 Cadagua completed the extension works to enable it to provide its current capacity of 30,000 m3/d, which is more than the normal demand of the city.
It is a vital part of the supply infrastructure for the city of Ceuta.
Thanks to this project, consumption of fresh water from other sources such as the reservoirs of Renegado and Infierno has been reduced.

Reverse osmosis, Remineralisation.
