Valmayor (extension)

The Valmayor DWTP originally entered into service in 1976 with a capacity of 6 m3/s. With this extension and renovation Cadagua has doubled the plant capacity up to 12 m3/s and has modernized the installations of one of the largest drinking water treatment plants in Spain.

It also includes ballasted lamella settling technology, pre-ozone treatment and active carbon filters to ensure water of the highest organoleptic quality.
