The treatment plant of Condesan in Santomera (Murcia) treats the waste waters from processing citrus fruits.

DAF pre-treatment removes fibers and essential oils that confer a certain level of toxicity to these waters. After pre-treatment and buffering, the plant combines IC anaerobic technology with a second stage of conventional activated sludge to ensure good quality discharge water.
