Modernization and construction of the Treatment Station of Szczecinek, a major project with a value of over 19 M. Euros, which updates the old and inefficient existing plant originally designed to serve large scale industries in the area.

The modernization, which consists of building a treatment plant with a treatment capacity of 12,000 m3/d, instead of the original 20,000 m3/d, was co-financed by the European Union and has complied with the following objectives: biological removal of nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) and decreased operational and maintenance costs.
