Ripoll

This WWTP, located in the most important municipality of the head of the river Ter, was designed to remove both organic matter and nitrogen and phosphorus.

It is an excellent example of good management of the river waters in an area with major textile industries, where continuous and uncontrolled discharges are a problem.
